actually, now that i think about it, the most exhilarating thing to have happened to me since I started grad school in september was getting an iphone, which i used to take this picture, which accurately illustrates my completely non-thrilling life.

however, it might not be all for naught. if this hibernation period is productive, i should find myself in buenos aires for a good 8 weeks starting in june. and what's in argentina?
