it's blitz came at a perfect time for me - just after being dumped. it brought me back to being 19 and completely unconcerned with anything or anyone around me - i was too smart for my own good, invincible, and obviously cooler than anyone who didn't have the guts to move to NYC for college. simply, there was nothing more bad ass to an impressionable 19-year old than listening to karen o threatening 'I'm rich....I'll take you out boy' over and over again.
anyway, It's Blitz has dancing (heads will roll), ennui (dull life) and obsession (hysteric). listen to it - it will make you want to dance and provide you with a temporary false sense of empowerment, which is, of course, the best way to get over a breakup.
